Youth Soccer

With an emphasis on fair play and safety first, the YMCA youth soccer programs are progressive with age appropriate rules to help teach the game and keep it fun! Soccer is the sport that teaches important core values, while also emphasizing exercise and building endurance. All four youth soccer leagues seasons present opportunities for character growth and health improvements in children.

Indoor Soccer

Our youth indoor soccer leagues build winners in life, one child at a time. Our philosophy is simple, "Everybody Plays, Everybody Wins!" We emphasize good sportsmanship, fitness, fair play, fundamentals, and fun while implementing our core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith. We offer four seasons of youth indoor soccer leagues.

Rookie (Outdoor)

Our Rookie-Plus youth soccer program focuses on skill development, fun, and a sense of team in a semi-competitive environment. Scores and standings will be kept. Our rules have been adjusted to ensure better parity and limit the ability of a team to, "run up the score." All Rookie-Plus divisions will practice 1 hour a week and have a game on Saturdays.

All equipment and uniforms will be provided by the YMCA. Equipment will be available at your practice location. Uniforms will be distributed by the first game. Uniforms consist of a reversible top. The home team will wear "Silver" on game day.

The rookie model is a 50/50 developmental style league. Participants will meet once per week. Instruction will take place the first 30 minutes and a game will follow for the remaining 30 minutes.
