Over the last couple of months, we have been at home more than ever. But just because we are at home, doesn’t mean that we can’t continue to learn, grow, and stay active. The Y has stepped into the digital world to provide virtual classes for people of all ages. We want to help you make the most of your time at home. Whether you’re looking for fitness options or want to try something new, The Y has options for you.
No matter your age, we have a wide range of virtual classes and programs you can use to achieve your fitness goals from home. Our Y360 platform hosts a variety of videos for you to follow along with and with a wide range of categories. From yoga to boot camps or pilates to weightlifting, there’s something for everyone. We also offer videos for active older adults that are easy to follow and can be done with everyday items around the home.
You can always try and learn new skills, no matter where you are. The Y wants to help you and your family foster that desire to learn. On top of offering different virtual classes that you can register for, we provide online videos and resources for the whole family. From the comfort of home, the family can learn new recipes, sports fundamentals, or the arts.
External Virtual Classes
The Y isn’t the only organization offering virtual program options. We’ve compiled a list of resources to help everyone find something they’re interested in. There are also several online platforms that provide free online courses for you to continue to build your knowledge. We always want to encourage the importance of staying active and growing, whether you’re at a YMCA or your own home.
Although the way we hold classes has changed in the last few months, we are happy to offer virtual classes for our community. If you are at one of our locations or participating from home, there are classes or programs at the Y for you. Contact us today to find the perfect class for you and your family.
