FALL I PROGRAM SESSION
Fall classes for some of your favorite six-week programs at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA are gearing up, which means it’s time to register for the Fall I Program Session. Included in this session, which runs from Sept. 13-Oct. 22, are new classes for:
- Boot Camp
- Teens N' Training (TNT)
- Jr. Boot Camp
- Lego Mind Storms NXT
- Jr. Lego Robotics
- Pre-Ballet I & II
- Dance Combo
- Baby Bumper Gymnastics
- Gymnastics
- Lean Body Challenge
- Ballet, Jazz & Tap
- Tennis
Open Registration is currently underway. Hurry in to the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Member Services Desk (512-250-9622) to sign up early as space fills fast. The deadline to sign up for these great six-week classes is Sept. 12.
GYMNASTICS, DANCE & CHEER 2010-2011
It’s time to sign up for a new season of Gymnastics, Dance & Cheer classes at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA! All of your favorite programs in each discipline are back, so make sure to register early as space will fill quickly. Open registration is ongoing! YOUTH SPORTS REGISTRATION – WINTER
It always seems like time flies by with today’s hectic schedules, but we don’t want you and your kids to miss the next season of YMCA Youth Sports at the YMCA of Greater Williamson County. The following are the registration dates for the upcoming winter season:
WINTER 2010-2011 SEASON
YMCA Family Member Registration: Sept. 25 – Nov. 6
Open Registration: Oct.
23 – Nov. 6
Registration Deadline: Nov. 6
So mark your calendars and plan to sign up early. TEEN MIDNIGHT MADNESS
Hey teens ... are you looking to find something fun and different to do on a Friday night? Well, the Twin Lakes Family YMCA has the answer for you with Midnight Madness! Held on the first Friday each month from 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. and open to students between the ages of 10-15 years, Midnight Madness provides a different theme or focus each month while offering dancing, DDR, basketball, volleyball, video games, karaoke tournaments, card games, concessions, pool, foosball, raffle prizes and more.For only $7 per person at the door, it’s an easy solution to pick up a boring Friday night. Cedar Park 5 Miler
Dust off your running or walking shoes because the Cedar Park 5 Miler is back! Set for Sunday, Oct. 31, this 15th annual event will start from Commons Shopping Plaza in Cedar Park (located at the intersection of Buttercup Creek Blvd. & US 183) with the Kids IK Fun Run at 7:30 a.m. The adult 5K will then take off at 8:00 a.m. followed by the 5 Miler main event at 8:15 a.m. As usual, runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate.
